Cyclops Shark Found in Indonesia

It's got a black eye, like a shark eye...

2020, it's been a strange year for everyone, but just when you thought it couldn't get any weirder in the water, we first had a two-headed shark, and we have a one-eyed albino shark.

Now that's what we call a great white shark! Sadly, the shark was found dead inside an adult shark hooked off the coast of Indonesia's Maluku province.

The shark had Cyclopia, a birth defect that can cause an embryo to form only one eye. It's thought that had the baby shark lived that it would be unlikely to survive in the ocean for long.
