This week, the incredible news was announced that the play about the making of Jaws ‘The Shark Is Broken’ will be coming to London’s Ambassadors’ Theatre later this year!

Written by Joseph Nixon and Ian Shaw, son of Jaws star Robert Shaw, The Shark Is Broken was first performed last year in Brighton before setting sail for a sell-out run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Based on the legendary story of the history of the making of the movie and some of Robert Shaw’s own journals written at the time of production, The Shark Is Broken is cleverly set aboard the Orca portraying the debates, bickering and camaraderie between the three main stars Roy Scheider, Richard Dreyfuss and Ian’s father Robert Shaw.
