We are guessing Donald Trump isn’t a fan of the ending of JAWS 2

Now, be honest, that wasn’t a headline you thought you were probably going to ever have to read, but after remarking that he would rather be electrocuted than be eaten by a shark, we figured that the JAWS 2 (1978) ending where the great white shark bites down on an electricity cable held by Chief Brody (Roy Scheider) before being fried, wouldn’t be his favourite.

The bizarre – even by Donald Trump standards – comment came about during a campaign event in Iowa, on Sunday. Trump told those attending of his preferred method of death, should he ever find himself on a sinking boat in shark-infested waters. Something we’ve all thought about, er right?

This is what he said: “If I’m sitting down and that boats’s going down and I’m on top of a battery and the water starts flooding in, I’m getting concerned. But then I look ten yards to my left and there’s a shark over there. So, I have a choice of electrocution or a shark. You know what I’m going to take? Electrocution. I will take electrocution every single time. Do we agree? Yeah, I will take electrocution.”
