Shark Week 2019: Dates Announced

Dates for Discovery Channel’s 2019 Shark Week have been confirmed! The week long series of programs dedicated to everyone’s favourite apex predator is set to air July 28 through August 3. Discovery Channel announced its plans for the 31st installment of its popular summer series in a promotional video it released on Friday - see video below.

The 31st shark week will include programmes such as “Mayne vs. Shark,” which will feature illusionist Andrew Mayne, “Sharks of the Badlands,” which will explore the sharks of New Zealand and “Tiger Shark Island,” which was filmed off the coast of Australia. This year’s slate of shark-centric documentaries will also include sequels to fan favorite episodes such as Great White Abyss II and Air Jaws’ Revenge.
