Nat Geo's SHARKFEST: Complete program listing for 2024

Leading into World Ocean Day, National Geographic is launching a jaw-some lineup of original content for this year's SHARKFEST. The festivities kick off on June 30 at 9/8c with "SHARK BEACH WITH ANTHONY MACKIE: GULF COAST." Marvel superhero Anthony Mackie, known for his role in "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier," stars and serves as executive producer. The hour-long special follows Mackie navigating the waters of his hometown, New Orleans, alongside leading scientists and local fishermen. The focus is on understanding how to balance fishermen's livelihoods, local safety, and shark conservation.

Following at 10/9c is "SHARK VS. ROSS EDGLEY," where ultra-athlete and world record holder Ross Edgley challenges his mind and body against four formidable shark species.
