Jaws Hotdog To Help Celebrate 20 Years Of Universal Studios Japan

Fancy a Jaws hotdog? A whaaaat? That's right, a Jaws hotdog. At Universal Studios Japan you can eat the head, the tail, the whole damn thing as part of the 20th anniversary celebrations of the park.

News of the shark food surfaced on WDW News Today. The promo image sees a hot dog in a fancy shark bun (anyway, we delivered the bun) within the classic Roger Kastel Jaws poster.

The Jaws Hotdog, coming soon to the Jaws ride in Japan, Osaka.

It's a significant location for Jaws fans as it is the only place in the world to have a Jaws Ride. We know you can see Bruce on the backlot tour at Universal Studios Hollywood, but this is just like the Jaws Ride that was at Universal Orlando, before Harry Potter made it vanish. That's some bad sorting hat, Harry!

Rumours that the Jaws hotdog, dubbed the Jaws Dog, will be 25 feet long and weigh three tons are completely unfounded.

Anyway, we know there is only one Jaws Dog, and that's Pipit. Too soon?

As well as the Steven Spielberg film shark-themed snack there will also be film food and drink tie-ins for the likes of E. T. - The Extra Terrestrial, Back to the Future, The Terminator and Backdraft.

Some of the existing Jaws themed food already available at the Jaws ride in Japan, Osaka.
