Could we get a Jaws set from Playmobil?

Well, after The Daily Jaws received a tweet from the official Playmobil account it could certainly be a possibility that we could see the return of the Orca, in toy form.

Dean, our Chief Writer, had just received the rather stunning Playmobil DeLorean set from Back to the Future, complete with Marty McFly, Doc Brown and Einstein the dog, and figured that Jaws should get the Playmobil treatment as well.

So he posted a message on The Daily Jaws Twitter, copying in Playmobil. To his surprise the next morning there was a response from Playmobil, they posted:

Just like Mayor Vaughn, they are going to take it under consideration. And we know they could do it, you only need to see their Back to the Future and Ghostbusters sets to see that.

They are also no stranger to boat sets, so squint a little - or should that be Quint a little - and we aren't that far off from Orca. And being Playmobil it would also float on the water, allowing us to become Spielberg and recreate our own scenes.

And it wouldn't be the Orca without its crew, this guy already has a hint of Quint's apprentice about him.

And this could very easily be modified to give us Matt Hooper and his anti-shark cage. We'd need a bigger shark though.

And that just leaves Chief Brody, any chance of getting his pick up, complete with  Beach Closed signs on the back and a Deputy Hendricks and Major Vaughn - anchor suit is a must - to go with it.

Even the potential of Orca and its crew appearing in Playmobil has already gone down a storm with Jaws fans on Twitter.

@JadBean said, heads up, @playmobil - a JAWS set would be AMAZING!

@MrAndyboy kept it simple, saying can confirm: Would buy.

@CiscoInkling added, the fact that Lego still sits on their ass and panders to Jurassic World and Star Wars is baffling. I'll pay DAMN GOOD MONEY to buy a Playmobil Jaws set.

Would you pay Playmobil your summer dollars for a Jaws set?
