Jaws 45th Anniversary Limited Edition (4K Ultra HD) To Hit UK Shores Before US

When we announced that Jaws was being released on 4K Ultra HD in the US on June 2nd we didn't have a release date for the UK...we do now.

Pre-orders are up on Amazon and it turns out Jaws swims into UK shops on June 1st, a whole 24 hours before it does in America. And being Jaws fans we all know that 24 hours is like three weeks. 

It's a role reversal then from when Jaws made its debut in cinemas. Back in 1975 the Steven Spielberg classic hit the big screen on June 20th, the UK had to wait all the way until December 26th that same year until it could be terrified about going back into the water. Not that there would hav ebeen much chance of that the day after Christmas Day! 

Foretelling the misery that would be bestowed upon the Brody family at the start of Jaws the Revenge perhaps?
