CELEBS HOOKED BY THE SHARK IS BROKEN ON OPENING NIGHT

Amity, as you know, means friendship. As it turns out, so does The Shark Is Broken.

A host of familiar names and faces made their way to The Ambassadors Theatre in London's West End to charter a ride on the Orca with the characters of Robert Shaw, Richard Dreyfuss and Roy Scheider.

They were doing lockdown, circa 1974 in Martha's Vineyard, on the set of Steven Spielberg's Jaws.

Celebrities attending the show included MacKenzie Crook, Matt Lucas, Caroline Quentin, Sanjeev Bhaskar and Jessica Hynes.

One of those to take to Twitter after The Shark Is Broken had raised the roof was Steve Pemberton, from The League of Gentleman and Inside No 9. The actor and writer, said:

Unforgotten actor Sanjeev Bhaskar was enthralled by Ian Shaw's performance of Robert Shaw, which he later commented was burned on his retinas. On Twitter, he said:
