Michael Caine Jaws The Revenge Audio Commentary (35th Anniversary Spoof)

We’ve only gone and blown the bloody Jaws off, as we proudly present the commentary Jaws fans have been waiting 35 years for is finally here; Michael Caine watching Jaws The Revenge!

After much negotiation and a few too many Bahama Mammas, Hoagie himself, Academy Award winning actor Michael Caine, agreed to sit down with Ross from The Daily Jaws to watch and record an exclusive one-off audio commentary for one of his most infamous ‘pay check’ movies, Jaws The Revenge.

Ross, founder of The Daily Jaws, the world’s number one Jaws fan-site. said: “It was a real privilege to spend time with this iconic living film legend. It’s quite the coup to get him talking about a film he infamously had stated he had never seen before, but had built a terrific house. Unsurprisingly, Sir Michael doesn’t disappoint and was a pure delight, and we hope Jaws fans get as much a kick out of the once in a lifetime experience as I did.”

The British screen iconic has been on our screens for almost 70 years, so his commentary is full to the brim (any fuller, we’d need a bigger commentary) of fantastic behind the scenes moments, candid comments and anecdotes from some of his many other films. But, then what else would you expect from the star of Zulu, The Italian Job, Get Carter, Educating Rita, Batman Begins, The Prestige and many more.

Michael Caine’s Jaws The Revenge commentary gives new meaning to the film’s tagline, this time it’s personal.

In the past, The Daily Jaws has teased it’s 100k plus followers with a spoof ‘breaking news’, proposing that Sir Michael was ready to watch his fish film. Alas, this was a ploy by The Daily Jaws, hoping to chum Caine’s waters and get him on board. And it seems to have worked!

With an IMDB Metascore score of 15 and 0% on Rotten Tomatoes’ ‘Tomatometer’ Caine, 89, had been reluctant to watch Jaws The Revenge, explaining that internet scores are “all that matter to an actor.” But after the global excitement caused by an internet rumour that he and original Jaws star Richard Dreyfuss were to team up for a Hooper and Hoagie Jaws sequel, he felt the time was right to take the plunge and face “his shark.”

I play Hoagie. A local pilot for hire in the Bahamas. I’m something of a rogue and a whizz with the ladies. Bit like Han Solo. Except I fly laundry. I like to think of him as an older Alfie with sharks.

Mr Caine also shared his secret tips for making a 'mindblowing' Bahama Mamma as well as advice on how to design the perfect kitchen in a new house paid for by seven day’s work.

I missed the Oscars for this?!
