AFTER FRIENDS AND HARRY POTTER, COULD CAST AND CREW OF JAWS REUNITE?
We've had a Friends Reunion and now a Harry Potter Reunion, Harry Potter 20th Anniversary - Return To Hogwarts, so who would be up for a Jaws 50th anniversary reunion?
Jaws doesn't turn 50 until 2025, and - as horrible as it is to think about it - realistically this would be the last time many of the remaining cast and crew will be here for a major Jaws anniversary of the release of the Steven Spielberg film.
Carl Gottlieb, Joe Alves, Richard Dreyfuss, Lorraine Gary, Jeffrey Kramer, Susan Backlinie, Jeffrey Voorhees, Spielberg - who turned 75 in December - and John Williams - 90 this February - are all advancing in years, so it would be great to get as many Jaws alumni back together - whether that be in person, on film or virtually - one final time.
Sure, we've had The Shark Is Still Working documentary from 2007, narrated by the late Roy Scheider, but nothing really significant with key cast and crew since then.
Before that there was Jawsfest at Martha's Vineyard - the filming location of Jaws in 1974 - which returned in smaller form in 2012.
That original event played host to thousands of Jaws fans from around the world, and also featured a talk session with Jaws author Peter Benchley and Carl Gottlieb, who both worked on the screenplay.
A lot has happened in the world of Jaws since The Shark Is Still Working was released; from the resurrection of Bruce the shark in the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures to The Shark Is Broken play, co-written by the son of Robert Shaw, Ian Shaw.
As well as a host of new merchandise from NECA figures to Funko Pop and a Jaws boardgame from Ravensburger.
Ross Williams, director of The Daily Jaws, the world's number one Jaws site, said: "The world of Jaws just keeps growing, its like we need a bigger boat each year just to keep up with the new articles, facts, behind the scenes images, merchandise and critical writing.
"And The Daily Jaws has been at the forefront of celebrating that ever-growing Jaws fandom and shark conservation, something which was close to the heart of Jaws author Peter Benchley and his wife, Wendy.
"Our mission is to entertain and inform, about both Jaws and sharks, so we are proud to continue to fly the flag for the film and the fans around the globe.
"One final reunion of Jaws cast and crew would be truly amazing, people never tire of hearing about the making of the greatest film ever made and we are proud to be part of helping keep that history and legacy swimming onwards. And it would be an honour to play our part in any reunion if it were to take place."
Harry Potter 20th Anniversary - Return To Hogwarts is released on 1 January.
