Robert Shaw's Best Interviews

This week, The Daily Jaws was lucky enough to interview the charming Ian Shaw (son of Jaws star Robert Shaw) in the build up to the West End run of his hit stage show The Shark Is Broken. The show is set aboard the Orca between takes during the making of Jaws and tells the story of the experience of the principle actors Roy Scheider, Richard Dreyfuss and Robert Shaw. Ian will be playing his own father with able support from Liam Murray Scott as Dreyfuss and Dimitri Goritsas as Scheider.

As part of Ian’s journey to be able to give a true account, he read through his late father’s diaries and also watched some interviews. We all know Robert Shaw from his incredible acting (and writing) but the man himself was as charismatic himself as any movie role he ever played. Below are just three interviews Robert gave in the 70s which confirm his status as a bonafide movie star from a golden age. Enjoy!
