'Street Sharks' set to make a return for 30th anniversary!

With Meg 2: The Trench tearing up the global box office and The Shark Is Broken buoyant on Broadway, sharks in popular media have probably never had it so good since the release of JAWS in 1975.
The ascent of sharks is set to continue in to 2024 with the return of Street Sharks. That’s right the Mattel toy line – which naturally including an accompanying animated series back in 1994 – is, according to the website Comicbook, set to make a return to our streets (and shelves) as ‘the toy company will release a new retro toy line aimed at nostalgic adult collectors’.
What these new Street Sharks may look like, it is too early to know, but that doesn’t mean that shark fans can’t start getting just a little bit excited.
And with the prospect of a LEGO JAWS set to still come our way, and the 50th anniversary of the publication of JAWS the book by Peter Benchley, 2024 is already shaping up to be an exciting year for fans of all things shark.
