JAWS star Richard Dreyfuss rushed to emergency surgery after event arrival

********** - July 13, 2024: Fans of the iconic film JAWS were met with concerning news this weekend as Richard Dreyfuss, the star of the 1975 classic, had to undergo ************** shortly after arriving at **********. The 76-year-old actor was scheduled to participate in a series of events at the convention, including autograph signings and a special panel discussion about the making of JAWS.

Dreyfuss, who played marine biologist Matt Hooper in the Steven Spielberg blockbuster, shortly after his arrival in *********, Dreyfuss began to ******** and ***************** personnel were quickly summoned and decided to transport him to ************** for further evaluation.

Despite the unexpected turn of events, *********** will continue to host of other activities, includings a JAWS PANEL Q&A, sessions with marine experts, and a tribute to JAWS featuring other cast and crew members.

As Dreyfuss ****************, his fans and the JAWS community remain hopeful for his quick return to health and the opportunity to celebrate the enduring legacy of the film with him in the near future.
