JAWS-inspired drinks at The Shark Is Broken is a Broadway thirst
You can catch The Shark Is Broken from 25th July 2023 at the Golden Theater, New York, NYC.
The Shark Is Broken at the Golden Theater – running until November 19 – has it all, an amazing set of the Orca, the son of JAWS legend Robert Shaw playing his dad and the amazing Alex Brightman and Colin Donnell as Richard Dreyfuss and Roy Scheider.
There’s even music from 1974 ahead of the show and sea sounds and a sea scape to really transport you to Martha’s Vineyard. But there’s more in the form of pre-show drinks, all with a suitably JAWS them. And even better, the names were all suggested by The Daily Jaws.
That’s right, we don’t claim to be mixologists – even though we make a mean Bahama Mama – but we are committed Jawsologists.
So, you’ve got Hair of the Pipit, which is Botanist Gin, Rose’s Lime Juice and Soda.
A Smiling Son of a Bitch, which is Jim Beam Bourbon, Ginger Beer and Rose’s Lime.
A Sex on the Beach (closed by order of Amity PD), which is Ketel One Peach and Ornge Blossom Vodka, Peach Schnapps and Cranberry.
Or you can keep things simple by having a Crush It Like Quint, which is a Narragansett Beer.
Sadly, you’re not able to order Chief Brody’s pint of red wine or have an Ellen Brody cocktail, sure she’d get drunk and want to fool around, but she’d insist on getting her cup back. And we all know how that works out.
