Jaws, what the 4K is that cover?
Images have surfaced of temp artwork of the mooted Jaws 4K release, which - if rumours are said to be true - is set for release in June or July.
Let's hope that artwork is changing, as this is the frankly horrible design that was used on both the 25th and 30th anniversary DVDs, where the photoshopped or redesigned shark looked more slimmed down and there was excessive bubble action. It looked more ropey than a length of rope that Chief Brody couldn't tie a knot in.
Sure, it was A shark, but it wasn't THE Kastel shark from the poster, like we finally got with the remastered bluray.
So, Universal, please, please, please give us either the original cover or some original fan art instead. Anything but this bastardisation, I don't intend on going through that hell again!
Nothing on the extras or if we'd be getting anything brand new for us Jaws fans who have double, triple or quadrupole dipped the Steven Spielberg classic already. (Me? I'm two copies on VHS, three different DVDs and three different blurays).
