Its 'Pipit The Revenge' as dog takes on Hammerhead shark

The Bahamas, the home of JAWS the Revenge, played host to Pipit the revenge as a dog took on a 12 foot long Hammerhead shark.

In what was arguably the strangest sight in these waters since seeing a shark roar in the final JAWS film, the gutsy Bahamian Potcake - that's the fittingly brilliant breed of dog - leapt in the clear water and tourists gasped and pleaded with the pooch to get out of the water.

Instead, it and the shark circled one another until the shark, much to the relief of the crowd who witnessed it, swam off.

It certainly fared better than the dog which features in the Steven Spielberg-directed JAWS, Pipit, who is seen playing in the water one minute and next all that remains is its bobbing stick. A portent of the death which soon comes to young Alex Kintner on his inflatable.
