Estate agent bites off more than they can chew with Jaws sequel star Michael Caine

Famously, Jaws the Revenge (1987) bought Michael Caine a nice house, but an estate agent advert has him seething.

The legendary actor was 'Without A Clue' that his name and famous features were being used to help sell 'The Prestige' properties in Kensington, London.

Talk about taking the Michael! It is said the star of the likes of Get Carter, Peter Benchley’s The Island and Batman Begins has instructed lawyers to take action with the 'Dirty Rotten Scoundrels'. And no doubt it will be a case of the Caine house rules, rather than 'The Cider House Rules.'

The advert was riffing on one of his most famous lines relating to The Italian Job, "you're only supposed to blow the bloody doors off”, but everyone knows that when it comes to property they should have been quoting Caine regarding his comments about Jaws the Revenge.

The actor claims never to have seen the third sequel to Steven Spielberg's Jaws, saying: "I have never seen it, but by all accounts it is terrible. However, I have seen the house that it built, and it is terrific."

Now, that's how you sell a house!
