Author and The Daily Jaws contributor announces new book

Michael A. Smith, author of the book, "JAWS 2: The Making of the Hollywood Sequel," and frequent contributor to "The Daily JAWS," has signed a deal for a new book to be released in 2025. The book, to be titled "FINATICS - 50 Years of JAWS" will take a look at the continued love for the film by fans all over the world. Besides featuring stories and images of some of the best JAWS memorabilia, as well as fan art and tatoos, the book will recognize the (50) greatest JAWS fans in the world. Think you're one of them? Smith is also the author of the cover story for the June 2015 issue of "Horror Hound" magazine and updated Edith Blake's 1975 book, "On Location - On Martha's Vineyard: The Making of the Moive JAWS" for it's 2020 reissue. He is currently updating the book again, with more never before seen photos, for a 50th Anniversary release next summer.
