BABY SHARK MOVIE IS GONNA NEED A BIGGER SCREEN
Jaws had audiences screaming in their cinema seats almost 50 years ago, and the likes of Deep Blue Sea, The Reef, 47 Meters Down and The Meg followed on its wake.
And now, joining that pantheon of shark cinema, is the Baby Shark, that is at least set to have parents screaming in the aisles.
Pinkfong and Baby Shark’s Space Adventure (hey, hasn't this already been done in Sharknado?) is set to surface on screens in the US for a limited run on October 9 and 10.
There must be something in the water, as September and October already looks set to be shark season.
At the end of September there is the unveiling of the only remaining Bruce cast, spruced up and given a Hollywood mako-over by Greg Nicotero, one of the key exhibits at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in LA.
And then on October 9 on the other side of the (Michael's in the) pond, The Shark Is Broken, about the making of Jaws co-written and starring Ian Shaw, the son of Jaws legend Robert Shaw, makes its West End debut.
Of the Baby Shark film, Bin Jeong, CEO of Pinkfong USA, told Variety: “The theater experience brings a new level of excitement and interaction that truly lends itself well to this song-filled adventure.”
Didn't he just describe Jaws?
