EVENT: JAWS SCREENING IN LONDON WITH IAN SHAW

A special screening of JAWS is due to take place on Sunday January 23rd from 17:30 at the Piccadilly Circus-based cinema, Picturehouse Central.  


After the screening of the blockbuster from Steven Spielberg, who turned 75 years-old on December 18th, Ian Shaw, who shares his birthday, will be interviewed onstage. Ian, a son of actor Robert Shaw and a star and co-writer of the acclaimed West End play, The Shark is Broken, will discuss JAWS, its impact and his father’s role in the film. To talk about the play, including its inception, he’ll be joined by its co-stars, Liam Murray Scott and Demetri Goritsas. Liam plays Richard Dreyfuss in The Shark is Broken and Demetri plays Roy Scheider. 

The Shark Is Broken performs at the Ambassador’s Theatre until 13th February 2022


The legendary film composer John Williams, whose work includes the Oscar-winning music of JAWS, will be 90 years-old around two weeks after the screening.
