Jaws fan's birthday made extra special as Jaws released in IMAX on same day
Bradley Bjornstad, from Eugene, Oregon, is gonna need a bigger cake on September 2, as it is his birthday, but this year marks a double celebration as Jaws jumps onto IMAX for the first time on the very same day.
Bradley, who will turn 33 on the day in question, said: "I will definitely be going to the theater to watch Jaws on my birthday. I will be seeing it in 3D, because it will be a version I’ve never seen before, and never thought I’d get to experience. "If I have time, I might even see the IMAX version as well to see it on the biggest screen possible, and with unbeatable state of the art sound. "I’ll definitely be seeing in 3D as my first priority, and can’t wait to see what they do with the conversion. I can imagine some pretty spectacular moments - just like when I saw Jurassic Park 3D in the theater. “
Watch out Bradley - This shark, swallow you whole!
Jaws is by far Bradley's favourite film, and always has been, with him first experiencing the exploits of Brody, Quint and Hooper at the age of three. The Steven Spielberg shark classic has had him hooked ever since.
He added: "It means a great deal that Jaws is being released in such a new and special way on my birthday. I was so excited when I found out about the release that I had to tell my dad about it.
"He immediately said that he’d definitely get me a birthday ticket - as he knows how special Jaws has been to me all my life.
"Jaws ignited my love of film and made me want to be a filmmaker and story teller. "
