In January (2023), after a three year absence due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the very harsh border restrictions, I returned to Japan. This trip was primarily a research trip to help with updating my book “Japan: The Basics” but, of course, there was a bonus (or maybe it was the real reason)… USJ still has an active Jaws ride.
