Will actor Eric McCormack has the grace to watch The Shark Is Broken

You can catch The Shark Is Broken from 25th July 2023 at the Golden Theater, New York, NYC. 

Writers, directors, editors and actors, all have been influenced by the power of Steven Spielberg’s JAWS, and one of those actors that inspired them into their profession because of the performances in the film was Eric McCormack of Will and Grace fame.

He took time out from appearing in The Cottage to be enthralled by the mesmerising cast of Ian Shaw, Alex Brightman and Colin Donnell – as Robert Shaw, Richard Dreyfuss and Roy Scheider – in the Broadway show, The Shark Is Broken at the Golden Theater.

Taking to Instagram after the show – which is based on the behind-the-scenes antics whilst making JAWS on Martha’s Vineyard in 1974 – Eric said: “The three actors in JAWS taught me everything I needed to know as a wannabe actor at 12.

“The wonderful actors those men on Broadway in The Shark IS Broken reminded me why I still love my profession. Congrats to Ian Shaw, Colin Donnell and Alex Brightman for your kickass spot-on performances.”
