If you're wishing for a white Christmas with a touch of shark excitement, you're in for a treat courtesy of The Daily Jaws. The world's top JAWS fan site has infused a bit of holiday spirit into the iconic Steven Spielberg summer blockbuster—remember, it was only released in the UK the day after Christmas in 1975.

Introducing "The 12 Days of Jawsmas," a JAWS-themed twist on the festive classic. Originally crafted by our Head of Content, Dean, in 2017, this rendition comes to life with the enchanting voice of Grammy-nominated singer Judy Pancoast.

Judy Pancoast, a true JAWS aficionado, holds the record of watching the film 16 times in 1975. Her dedication extends to viewing all the JAWS sequels on the big screen, expressing admiration for Hendricks to Jeffrey Kramer, serenading Richard Dreyfuss in person, and even corresponding with JAWS composer John Williams.

"The 12 Days of Jawsmas" incorporates all your Spielberg classic favorites, featuring five shark victims, three yellow barrels, and two Brody boys. Delve into the rest of the narrative if you dare, and let the catchy tune of the 12 Days of Jawsmas become the holiday earworm swimming in your mind this festive season.

The Quint's Speech

'Tis the season to be JAWSY, and what better way to revel in Christmas than with a merry rendition of Quint's USS Indianapolis tale? Presenting The Quint's Speech, a nod to the legendary man himself and a slight tip of the hat to The Queen's Speech (RIP), crafted through a delightful collaboration between the eminent JAWS site, The Daily Jaws, and the whimsical Pop-Up Puppet Cinema – think Punch and Judy with a cinematic twist.

The outcome is a four-minute masterpiece featuring a puppet Quint regaling puppet Brody and Hooper with a yuletide twist. Picture 1100 elves besieged by reindeer with "black lifeless eyes" on Christmas Eve 1945. It's a festive spin on a pivotal moment from JAWS, originally delivered with finesse by Robert Shaw.

John from Pop-Up Puppet Cinema expressed, "Being ardent JAWS enthusiasts, we've been staging our puppet adaptation across the UK for a couple of years. So, when our pals at The Daily Jaws proposed a Christmas spin on one of the greatest movie speeches, we couldn't resist."

The star of the show, puppet Quint, chimed in, saying, "Personally, I've not much time for puppeteers! They've got soft hands, city hands!"
