Jaws Back From The Dead

Jaws. The word alone conjures images of large dorsal fins cutting through water and the giant shark crashing on to the stern of the Orca.

Such iconic cinematic moments wouldn’t have been possible without ‘Bruce’ the animatronic great white shark. Bruce was result of the ingenuity and graft of a superb special effects team lead by production designer Joe Alves and SFX legend Bob Mattey.

But what happened to what was at the time, the most expensive special effect ever made? The Daily Jaws tells the head, the tail, the damn story of Bruce’s fate and how one man made it his mission to restore one of the lost sharks and bring JAWS BACK FROM THE DEAD.
