Celebrating the birth of Jaws throughout June with #JawsJune
June 20, 1975. It’s a day that changed film history, the day that Steven Spielberg’s Jaws swam onto US cinema screens and has been a fixture of pop culture and remained in our consciousness ever since.
Welcome then, to Jaws June. Each day The Daily Jaws, the world’s number one Jaws fan site, will be celebrating a different aspect of Jaws in front of and behind the camera and asking Jaws fans to give us their views on a whole range of things to do with the greatest shark film ever made.
Ross Williams, founder of The Daily Jaws, said: “The Daily Jaws is nothing without the input of its followers, interacting with Jaws fans old and new alike has always been the cornerstone of our success, and what makes this group amazing across social media.
“At the end of the day, Dean – the head of content at The Daily Jaws – and I are just huge Jaws fans, talking about a film, filmmakers and actors we continue to love, and we enjoy helping keep the legacy of Jaws alive. And you can do just that by getting involved in Jaws conversations this June.”
