DEEP BLOOM SEA: HOLLYWOOD STAR PADDLE BOARDS NEXT TO GREAT WHITE SHARK

Orlando Bloom swapped the Black Pearl from Pirates of the Caribbean for a paddle board in Malibu, California and got to glide over the shadow of a great white shark.

Far from making him all at sea, the sight of the great white prompted a video clip on Instagram. As a caption, he added “When fear becomes your friend and @themalibuartist captures the moment.”

It's great to see such a positive posting about sharks, who are often so vilified in Hollywood. The shark, made infamous by the film Jaws, was a great example of how former Sindar Elves and sharks can co-exist.
