Deep Blue Steel: Ben Stiller shows up at The Shark Is Broken on Broadway

You can catch The Shark Is Broken from 25th July 2023 at the Golden Theater, New York, NYC.

The Shark Is Broken, or to look at it another way, the shark is Stiller not working.

Those proportions are correct after Hollywood film funnyman Ben Stiller came to support the show,  which is about the behind the scenes making of JAWS.

Stiller, the star of such films as The Night at the Museum, Meet The Parents
and Zoolander ,  had a picture post the show alongside its cast of Alex Brightman (Richard Dreyfuss), Ian Shaw (Robert Shaw), and Colin Donnell (Roy Scheider).

Ian and Ben's fathers -  Robert Shaw and Jerry Stiller - were even in the same film, The Taking of Pelham One Two Three (1974), which was the last film Robert Shaw made ahead of JAWS.  It was even directed by the future director of JAWS the Revenge, Joseph Sargent.

Perhaps inspired by his visit to The Shark Is Broken at the Golden Theater, Ben Stiller should think about reworking some of his back catalogue to make them more JAWS-themed.
