BABY SHARK SCORES 10 BILLION VIEWS

The great white shark in Jaws is the most popular shark in the world, right? Not so, well not on YouTube anyway.

The Baby Shark video has become the first video on YouTube to surpass an astonishing 10 billion views. No doubt that for Pinkfong, the company behind the Monster hit and merchandise, 10 billion views buys an awful lot of roast.

Forbes reported that Min-seok Kim, the CEO of Pinkfong, said in a statement.“We are delighted to announce that our beloved Baby Shark has recorded another remarkable milestone."

“It has been a truly meaningful journey to witness how Baby Shark has connected people around the world, and we can’t wait to introduce Baby Shark’s further adventures that will bring unparalleled experiences to even more fans everywhere.”

Kids love repetition, and Baby Shark delivers that, as any parent who has had to suffer it will know. Love it or loathe it though it is a positive shark role model aimed it kids, and they are few and far between.

If it helps youngsters become less fearful and sharks and see them as more friendly, and want to help aide their conservation, then perhaps the ear worm of the song is all worth it.

And who knows, a Baby Shark fan shark today could well be a future Jaws fan tomorrow. And people still don't know why we can keep on watching and writing about Jaws.
