Jaws Homage Spotted In Jurassic World: Dominion

Eagle eyes have spotted a nice nod to Jaws in images featured in Empire Magazine from the set of the latest dinosaur adventure from Universal Studios.

Jaws director, Steven Spielberg, of course directed by Jaws and Jurassic Park (1993), as well as its 1997 follow up, Jurassic Park: The Lost World. He has served as executive producer on the remaining films in the popular dinosaur series, Jurassic Park III, Jurassic World, Jurassic World: Forbidden Kingdom and next years delayed Dominion.

In these images you can see Chris Pratt and director Colin Trevor Row talking on a boat, and it is revealed that the name of that boat is Fair Spanish Lady. A song, of course, sung by Quint, captain of the Orca in the 1975 Spielberg classic.

Not that this is the first time the world's of Jaws and Jurassic Park have collided as a scene from Jaws even appeared in the original film, hidden on Nedry's computer desktop. He can't have been all bad if he liked Jaws.
