13 Year Old Jaws Fan Creates Homemade Shark For Upcoming Film

We Jaws fans love sharks. If your messages and comments are anything to go by, Steven Spielberg’s 1975 classic shark thriller inspired more people to learn to love these incredible creatures than fear them. Beyond Jaws, Spielberg’s body of work continues to inspire the next generation of filmmakers and storytellers.

13 year old Leo Escobar is a super Jaws fan and aspiring filmmaker. Leo is currently making his very own shark movie. With some help, Leo has followed in the practical effects footsteps of Jaws SFX maestro Bob Mattey, and created his very own shark. Named Chris, the shark will star in Leo’s upcoming film call ‘Rogue Shark’. Leo was kind enough to provide The Daily Jaws with photos and video of the process so you can make your own shark too!
