Chief Brody’s boys reunited: Lance Guest & Mitchell Anderson talk 35 years of Jaws The Revenge

The Daily Jaws has done what Jaws The Revenge (1987) failed to do, bring the Brody brothers from the final Jaws film together on screen at the same time.

And we’ve done that for a very special exclusive interview to celebrate 35 years since the release of the last film in the Jaws franchise.

They may not have shared any moments on screen together, but we’ve reunited Michael Brody (Lance Guest) and Sean Brody (Mitchell Anderson) to discuss that time writer Michael De Guzman and director Joseph Sargent blessed us with one of the most absurd plot lines in cinema history. A giant roaring fish with a grudge, psychically connected to it’s intended prey.

It’s hard enough trying to get your head around such a preposterous premise as a viewer, so imagine having to act in it and try to bring some level of believability to the story. Well, that was the mission for actors Lance and Mitchell. And, boy, have they got some amazing stories and lovely anecdotes to share.

The fun-filled interview is bursting with interesting insights into everything from filming death scenes, returning to Martha’s Vineyard, what it was like working with Jaws legend Lorraine Gary, as well intel on shooting in the Bahamas and the reshoots on the Universal backlot.

And let’s not forget filming with superstar Michael Caine, who even saved the life of one of the Jaws The Revenge actors!

Plus, Michael Caine wasn’t the only Jaws The Revenge actor to buy a house with their earnings from the film, and this Revenge star did see the finished movie!
