ACTOR FIRED FROM JAWS 2 CALLS IT 'WORST MOVIE EVER'
Jaws 2 was a troubled production. Issues with the shark not working (again), directors getting fired and the replacement director having a physical fight with star Roy Scheider to name a few.
So not having to be around this madness could be seen as a blessing in disguise. Well that’s how child star Ricky Schroder sees it.
Child star Ricky Schroder went on to starring roles including Det. Danny Sorenson in NYPD Blue.
Back in 2015, Ricky appeared on the Rachael Ray Show and was asked the question if he had ever been fired. After a few moments to think, Ricky revealed he had been fired from JAWS 2!

According to Ricky Schroder, actor Marc Gilpin was recast as Sean Brody in Jaws 2
Rikcy went on to explain that he had been originally cast by then Jaws 2 director John Hancock to play one of Chief Brody’s sons. However, some of the key characters in the movie was recast after Jeannet Szwarc was brought in to replace Hancock after only 4 weeks of shooting.
