THE DAILY JAWS MAKES SHARK WEEK DEBUT

The faces behind the world's number one Jaws site, The Daily Jaws, are set to appear on Shark Week.

That's right, swimming between shark programming on The Discovery Channel will be Ross and Dean from The Daily Jaws.

The UK-based duo are set to surface on Josh Gates Tonight on Wednesday 14 June at 11pm EST in the US, talking about the Jaws WeMake, where over 100 people from around the world became lockdown Steven Spielbergs.

Appearing on Shark Week is even more special to Ross and Dean, as the author of Jaws was the first host of the Week of shark-related programming back in 1996.

Dean said: "It's a real honour to be following in the footsteps of Peter Benchley, who shared a co-screenwriting credit with Carl Gottlieb on the 1975 film. Without Benchley we simply wouldn't have Jaws the film, or The Daily Jaws."

Ross added: "Jaws the book and the subcequent film have inspired so many people's love of sharks and conservation of these amazing creatures. That is the true and lasting legacy of Benchley and the film, and both continue to inspire The Daily Jaws and its followers."
