Jaws fan photoshops baby daughter into classic moments of Spielberg shark thriller - with hilarious results

Who said babysitting had to be boring? It certainly wasn’t for one jaws fan who was inspired to insert his baby daughter into some classic moments from Steven Spielberg’s shark thriller.

My name is Eastwood. I’m a director, editor and motion graphics artist, and I’ve been a Jaws enthusiast ever since riding the Jaws Ride at Universal Studios at age 6. After that, my parents let me watch the film on VHS and it’s pretty much been a yearly watch ever since. Just like many fans, I’ve collected Jaws merch for decades. Jaws is THE perfect film.

It has everything you want in a movie and hits every single emotion, add to that the legendary stories about the troubled production of Jaws and the painstaking exploits involved just to get the film in the can. It’s a miracle there’s even a finished film at all, never mind one that became so iconic, historic and influential.

I think the somewhat mythical cast/crew tales that outlined just how tough it was only enrich the experience when fans revisit Jaws. It really is the film that keeps on giving and there are so many elements to it.

People are still uncovering new things about the production of that film, and sites like this are a constant source for our fascination. Jaws is one of those rare films that offers something new with every watch, it’s very much been a staple in my family, both my parents love it and would tell me what the summer of 75 was like here in England.

My dad caught the film 7 times at the cinema during it’s release and he’s always quoted lines to us growing up. I now can’t wait to introduce the film to my daughter when her mum (finally) permits me.

For now, I can just Photoshop her into iconic scenes from the movie in anticipation that she’s going to be just as intrigued as I was when she finally sits down to watch it, and I’ll be right by her side grinning from ear-to -ear waiting for that first jump!
